Welcome to the Integrated Business Core (IBC) program at Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYUI), where we take a bold approach to learning!
Inspired by Henry B. Eyring’s foundational address, “A Steady Upward Course”, university president David A. Bednar directed the creation of IBC to equip students with essential skills for business leadership.
The IBC program is a business startup sandbox where students work together in teams to ideate, build, and run a real company.

We’re not your typical business program. Our innovative approach to education means our students are sought after by employers and land some of the biggest jobs in the industry. Employers love that our students get intensive, relevant experience while still in school.
The ultimate goal of IBC is to prepare students to be disciple leaders who serve wherever they work or live.
